May Day!

Happy May everyone!  The sun is shining in Salt Lake and it feels so good.  I think I'd almost forgotten what that felt like!  I can't wait for June in Rexburg, the weather will be perfect by then.  So I've been in Utah for the past week and a half and it's been pretty fun so far.  Not as fun as this last semester, but few things could top that!  Still missing my council peeps!  Can't wait to see you guys in a month at the reunion that Haley is doing!

I worked for the last week at Western Garden Centers in down town Salt Lake City.  I worked for them last summer and had a blast doing it.  It's a really fun job where you make a lot of good friends.  Not only that but I learned a ton about trees and shrubs and landscaping, so when me and my wife have our own house some day I'll be able to do a lot to make it beautiful!  The only downside is that I have to haul this soil builder around that has a bunch of different manures in it (like bat guano).  I bring it to people cars when they ask for it, and at the end of the day I smell like it.  Is it worth it?  I guess, it helps people gardens.  I mean its got bat guano in it, it's gotta do something!  ;)  

My other big announcement is. . . I'm engaged!  Just kidding!  haha, but I did get an iPhone and it is SO MUCH FUN!  I feel slightly guilty, but it's a good guilt haha ;)

Well here I am back in Utah!  I almost can't believe that the semester's over.  This was by far the hardest semester to leave BYU-I!  I made so many great new friends this last semester and came to love that school so much!  But life is good, it's not goodbye, just see ya later.  Besides, I'm going back really soon anyway.  ;)   Utah is great, the weathers pretty good and the trees are budding.  It's great to see my family who I only saw once all last semester.  I love my life so much!

End of Semester!

Wow this semester has gone by fast!  I feel like I remember the first week, and this week, and then everything in the middle is a blur, but a good blur, lol.  :)  This has been the best semester ever with being on council!  I'm so grateful for  all the new friends I've made, and for what I've learned and how I've grown!  Classes have been good!  Spanish was tough this semester but I grew a lot from it.  Speaking of growth, I looked back on how I was at the beginning of this semester and how I am now, and I've grown and changed a ton!  I'm so grateful for BYU-Idaho.  This semester for those of you who don't know, I'be been serving on the council to plan the new student orientation program called get connected and it's just around the corner!  we're about to see the fruits of all our hard labor come about!  It's going to be a good week and a half!  Life is so good!
